BMW (Germany) Trains Their Technicians Worldwide

Leading auto manufacturer BMW wanted to create an innovative interactive training program to train their technicians throughout the world in order to achieve  EPC certification.

The EPCglobal Hardware Certification Program is a standards-based compliance-testing program, developed by the EPCglobal community.

According to the BMW representative on this project they had already done a number of training programs related to quality and reliability over recent years, but most of them were straightforward and not very innovative and most importantly did not really help the learner discover the solution to the problem on their own. We needed a fresh approach.

Time is of The Essence

The custom training needed to be created in many different languages. It would to also need to be available online to different branches around the world. We anticipated that custom programs needed to be developed to co exist with the myriad of Flash Action Scripts to make the hands on interactive training deliver scientific formulas, calculations and sophisticated interactive training.

Finally the custom training needed to be very high quality with 3D/2D animations, sound, hands on interaction, tests assessments, final exams and SCROM compliant.
